The Extravaganza VIP Room
Sir McMillen, The Extravaganza show director and publisher of Chile Pepper magazine announced Monday that the VIP Room at the show will feature some of the finest food in southern Louisiana. Additional items include, special crafted beer, a full range of cocktails and a limited number of handcrafted, hand-rolled exotic cigars for patrons paying the added premium. “We wanted our guess’s wanting to maximize their experience at the show, to have the opportunity to experience some of the best that New Orleans has to offer” he shared at a local press conference in the warehouse house district.
He further shared “The VIP Room and it’s unique offerings are available daily during the show, allowing everyone the time and opportunity to experience and enjoy all of the Hot Sauce, BBQ and Specialty Food offerings from the 70 plus vendors. The cost of $50 assures everyone a value that is well spent and generously rewarded with fantastic food, cigars and a free subscription to Chile Pepper magazine.”
The location of the VIP Room, at Hall J at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in downtown New Orleans, is located directly in front of the show stage, providing ring side seating for the jalapeño, frog leg and wing eating competition, the infamous lick-a-thon and a number of viewings of “Meanwhile Back at Café Du Monde” show featuring many food celebrities, sharing their one-of-a-kind food experiences, all hosted by Peggy-Sweeney McDonald – author and show creator. The Extravaganza experience will also highlight Mardi-Gras Revelers, a Perfect Hurricane Challenge and an endless opportunity to sample hundreds of special items, hot sauces, BBQ and even, Cindy Reed Wilkins, Cin Chili’s legend, two-time back-to-back international championship chili.
